Sign in with your Coal account and read your projects, wishlists, Steam traffic, social posts, Radar mentions, timeline, and integration status. Available to every customer, with the same project permissions and plan access as the dashboard.

1. Download Coal

On macOS or Linux, rename your download to coal, make it executable, and move it to a directory on your PATH. For example, after downloading the Apple silicon build:

mkdir -p ~/.local/bin
mv ~/Downloads/coal ~/.local/bin/coal
export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"

On Windows, rename the download to coal.exe and run .\coal.exe from PowerShell, or add its directory to PATH.

2. Sign in

coal --host https://coal.nexus auth login

Confirm the code in your browser and sign in as usual. Your credentials are saved in your system credential store, with a private local file fallback when the credential store is unavailable. The CLI remembers this Coal environment and refreshes your session automatically.

3. Choose a project and read data

Data commands output JSON for scripts and agents. Use a name or slug from projects list, or pass --project your-project on a data command. Date ranges use UTC; --from YYYY-MM-DD --to YYYY-MM-DD selects an inclusive range of up to 180 days. Wishlist history is UTM-attributed; use the timeline for total wishlists. Reddit summary is an all-loaded-data snapshot.

The initial CLI reads data. More interface actions will be added over time. You can revoke this CLI session with coal auth logout. As with web sessions, an already-issued access token can remain valid until its short expiry.
